then you should check out the Textile Fair in Braintree on Sunday 25th March. The fair, hosted by the
Warner Textile Archive, will be buzzing with the region’s best craftspeople, ready to flash their array
of wares including vintage textiles, beads, patchwork, smocking, spinning and quilting. As well as
flitting around the stalls, you’ll be able to attend demonstrations and talks around the venue, so you

TEXTILE DESIGNER KAFFE FASSETT TALKS COLOUR

Kaffe Fassett, the world’s leading textile designer, will be passing on his pearls of colourful wisdom
this April as a guest lecturer for the Warner Textile Archive. On Sunday 15th April, at the Bocking Arts
Centre in Braintree, Fassett will be giving his talk, entitled Concentrate on Colour. As well as gaining a
valuable insight into Fassett’s creative mind and process, you will also be able to nosy around some
of his latest projects, including patchwork quilts, fabrics, needlepoints, mosaic, and some painted
and knitted designs. Come along to develop your mind’s eye and get to grips with colour. Tickets
