Dogwood Fabric preview

One of the very nicest things about the magazine business is getting sneaky peaks of new launches. We were lucky enough to receive a pack of fat quarters from Michelle a few weeks ago, which meant we got to sample her Dogwood fabric range before it arrived in the shops.
The style and colours of the fabric range are gorgeous, I personally fell in love with it as soon as I opened the packet and it was just right for an idea that had been brewing in my brain for a while. The finished design is going to be in issue 4 of Sew Hip which will be on sale end of January, here’s a sneak peak of Lou and I working on it at the Christmas party. A sneak peak of a sneak peak, if you will!
Next week its back to work properly in the Sew Hip office, lots is going on behind the scenes at the moment and I hope to share more photos and stories with you then, Happy 2009 to all of you!
wow! i think that you guys are pretty lucky to run the magazine…the freebies definitely help!! although i guess its alot of work especially around this time of year….so thankyou for all of that hard work!! The magazine is great and i can’t wait for januarys one!!

I really love your magazine, but just one question – why is there so much in there about Etsy, how about other sites like Folksy – they also have a load of lovely handmade things on there, and Folksy is UK based. Just something I noticed.
It is great to have a decent sewing mag though so keep at the good work.
